Client Orientation

Working with others is a necessity in the creative industry and part of the brief requires me to practice this. One of the students that I worked with is called Matt Bayfield.  Below are some of the examples of the work I produced for Matt.

Animation - Panda getting shot and Mushroom bobbing

  • Modelling The Suave Turnips - I approached Matt and asked if there was anything I could do to assist him and he handed me the crazy turnip designs.  I modelled three turnips and Christian Moles modelled the turnip with the top hat.

I assisted Matt on three seperate filming sessions as a camera man, a shot consultant and also acted as a Panda soldier (3rd shoot).

Here are me and the lads ready for action!

Matt helped me with my storyboards too by acting and discussing shot layout for my initial idea of 'Mr Pennel'.

Whilst I was storyboarding for 'The Dreammaker', I discussed my idea with Matt and he was keen to produce some character designs to suit the story. During this development we kept in contact and discussed ideas. When I recieved the designs from Matt I was proper chuffed! The designs were just what I needed, they were imaginative and suited to the characters I required: cute, cuddly and old!

Christian Moles, another friend and colleague, wanted to create a war film with special effects.  I assisted him with the following: acting the main lead, helping with shot layout, storyboarding and ideas.  We did a number of filming shoots on various locations including an airfield and blue screen theatre work.

"Moles" assisted me with work throughout the year by drawing storyboards, discussing ideas and layout and also by producing the opening credits which I was really pleased with.
